AC Milan Junior Camp China, together with Luoyang Education Bureau, has franchised four soccer youth training schools in Luoyang, Henan Province. The opening ceremony was held in the north China city last Saturday.
The two sides have agreed that, in the first phase, two AC Milan coaches will provide a week of professional soccer training and instruction for 12 local coaches and 48 students selected from the four schools. The brief but intense training camp is an opportunity for participants to learn mutual respect through fun and sharing. It also aims to stimulate their sense of responsibility and to turn the joy of youth into amazing and unforgettable moments, all through playing soccer.
Early in May this year, AC Milan began to promote its junior camp project throughout the world of Chinese soccer. It is expected that this project will bring 350 visits from Milan coaches to China and expand the training model to 200 schools in 20 cities. This will comprise instruction for 1600 Chinese coaches and training for 11,200 students.
