Joan Oliver, the former Chief Executive of Barcelona Football Club, visited Lucheng Football Club, a professional football club in Baotou city, Inner Mongolia, on November 7.
Joan Oliver and head of the club have exchanged views on various topics with regard to possible cooperation on the club’s equity, youth football training and international exchange.
As the Chief Executive of Barcelona FC from 2008 to 2010, Joan Oliver led the club to achieve huge financial income and brand appreciation. Mr. Oliver, who has been dedicated to the operation of European football events for a long time, is now focusing more on Chinese football development.
Joan decided to pay a visit to the club when he heard the news that Lucheng FC announced crowdfunding for the club.
He said, “It is a very special team, drawing public attention and mine. I will have further communication with my group when I am back from the visit and then set up a right cooperation plan.”
