China Open(tennis) will enter in her 12th year in 2015. The organizing committee is trying to find new sponsors for the “fifth grand” in the world. Tianyoude is a highland barley wine brewery, they signed the sponsorship contract with China Open and became the platinum sponsor of the event. Director of Tianyoude, Li Yinhui, Managing Director, Wang Jun, and Director of China Open Ltd, Wu Peihua attended the signing ceremony.
Li Yinhui said, barley can be easily associated with sports, the highland barley grows in wilderless, especially on the high altitude land in Tibet and Qinahai. It is kind of the spirit of persistence. China Open started from 2004, and now the highest level tennis event in Asia.
“We founded our tennis club in China. Now Tianyoude has our own tennis court, coaches and players, some of them are in the national team.”
Tianyoude sponsor Tour of Qianhai Lake, a well-known cycling event in China. They signed Chinese women tennis player Zhang Shuai before.
Wu Peihua said on the ceremony that “in my opinion, Tianyoude is in the same pursuit with China Open. Now Tianyoude is expanding their market in Europe and North America, which meets the spirit of globalization that China Open always has.”
