Sina Sports partners with 2015 WTA Elite Trophy

‍‍Recently 2015 WTA Elite Trophy Committee announced it secured partnership with Sina Sports which would become the official website for the event and the exclusive online broadcaster of all its matches. The deal also made Weibo the exclusive social media partner of the event. This will be the second international event Sina Sports broadcasts after the Premier League.

The WTA Elite trophy is a new tournament featuring the players ranked between 9 and 20 in the world. The city of Zhuhai has committed to staging the event until 2019, with a total prize fund of US$2.15 million available for singles and doubles competitions.

"Zhuhai is honored to host the WTA Elite Trophy starting in 2015," said Zhuhai vice mayor Lydia Long.
