Sina claims it has acquired rights to show UEFA Champions League, Europa League and UEFA Super Cup in China for the next three seasons from 2015-16 through to 2017-18.
The deal enables Sina Sports to show 78 matches from UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup per season and 41 matches from Europa League per season with coverage set to be provided across its range of online and mobile platforms.
In recent weeks, the Beijing based company has also secured rights to English Premier League for 2015-16 season along with Tencent Sports and LeTV Sports, while it has also established partnerships with Michael Owen and Carlo Ancelotti.
LeTV Sports is the first Chinese digital media operator to announce its live streaming rights to show up to 341 matches from the three properties for the same period.
