On July 24th, the day before the first match of International Champions Cup China, plays of AC Milan visited its premium sponsor Huawei Consumer Business Group’s headquarters in Shenzhen.
During the “AC Milan-Huawei Day”, He Gang, president of Huawei mobile product line met with the players and had an in-depth exchange of views on the future of the partnership with CEO of the club Adriano Galliani. After the meeting, He introduced Hua Wei’s technological achievements to the players and invited them to try out new products such as P8, Mate7, TalkBand B2.
The cooperation between Huawei and AC Milan can be traced back to July 2011 when Huawei solely sponsored the team during Italian Super Cup 2011, played at the National Stadium in Beijing. It was the first move of Huawei’s sports marketing. In October 2013, Huawei became a premium sponsor for the team. The deal was met with the launch of a limited edition P6 smartphone for the AC Milan players drawing a lot of attention from consumers. Four years later, AC Milan’s visit to Huawei’s headquarters is a clear sign of the good cooperation between them.
