Recently, Chinese basketball player He Tianju became a new member of NBA basketball club New Orleans Pelicans’ training camp. He’s performance successfully drew the attention from the Pelicans’ senior managers and made the Pelicans to show their will to cooperate with China’s Liaoning basketball team.
When it comes to the potential cooperation, Cheng Xiang, the vice general manager of Liaoning basketball team, claimed that more and more Chinese players might realize their dream to show up on the stage of NBA if the partnership could be established.
In the other hemisphere, athlete director of the Pelicans, David Buss also believed that the cooperation will be a good opportunity for Chinese young players like He. What’s more, during the interview, Buss indicated that the cooperation will definitely sow more seeds of Pelicans fandom to China. At the same time, more and more potential super stars will be dug out by the New Orleans’ basketball team.
