German television channel Sport1 has acquired the live rights to broadcast ten games from the 2015 International Champions Cup, in addition to the rights for Bayern Munich’s summer tour of China.
The 2015 International Champions Cup, a pre-season competition for some of Europe’s top soccer clubs, is scheduled as a series of tournaments to take place across Australia, China and the US.
Sport1 will show all three games from the Australian edition of the cup, including Real Madrid v AS Roma on 18th July, Manchester City v AS Roma on 21st July and Manchester City v Real Madrid on 24th July.
The German sports channel "will also show all three matches from the Chinese edition." Sport1 will show ManU vs. Barcelona and Chelsea vs. Paris St. Germain on July 25. In addition, the broadcaster will air Bayern Munich’s tour of China
German champions FC Bayern on Thursday formally announced its China tour this summer which will see three friendly games against Valencia CF, Inter Milan and Guangzhou Evergrande in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
Except for Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Real Madrid would show up in China this summer.
