Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

On May 21st, in Beijing University Students' Gymnasium, a long-anticipated competition was played. Under the arrangement of YONEX, “Four Kings in Badminton”—Lin Dan, Lee Chong Wei, Gade and Taufik Hidayat, again gathered in Beijing to attend a badminton exhibition match for adolescent students.
The competition between Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei met their hope that they could have a duel unfinished in Sudirman Cup. Finally, Lin Dan win the game 11-10 over Lee. Besides them, Gade and Taufik also came to the activity, and it was the first time they met each other after retirement of Gade.
It is said that, in the future, the four famous badminton players will travel around the world to play exhibition match for adolescent students and young players and attend sorts of guiding activities. The activity in Beijing University Students' Gymnasium is a part of the theme “Ambition of Kings”, aiming to start the “dream-seeking” travel between the “four kings” and children.
Moreover, in order to support the dream of the “four kings”, YONEX will also hold badminton promotion activities in the hometowns of the “four kings”—China, Malaysia, Denmark and Indonesia. Especially in China, about 100 similar themed promotion activities will be carried out in some central cities.
