SPORTACCORD confirms Istanbul as Host City for 2025 Convention

On the conference held by Guangdong Sports bureau, the representatives were debating on the “Reform Proposal of Guangdong Soccer”. During the conference, the Guangzhou Municipal Government announced that they will offer more monetary support on the two CSL clubs, Guangzhou Evergrande and Guangzhou R&F.
The plan includes two, Guangzhou R&F is going to be contracted with the Yuexiushan Stadium while 10 million RMB will be invested on the reshaping of Tianhe Stadium.
Besides, Guangdong government is about to try to invest in the club by state-run money, and eliminate the influence from the enterprises.
With good policy and investment, Guangdong intends to encourage the clubs stay in the same city and form the soccer culture and soccer industry.
Not only the professional soccer, Guangdong also made the proposal for the campus soccer. By 2017, 1000 soccer schools will be built in Guangdong. The leagues among Elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and colleges will be regular and competitive. One third of the school will have soccer class by 2020. The infrastructure is going to be able to meet the needs of World Cup in 2025.
