PPTV starts running races across China

Lately PPTV announced that they would hold a series of running races across China and the first competition would start on 25 April at Beijing Olympic Forest Park.

PPTV, known as PPlive Inc, is an online streaming platform which provides videos and live programs. Apart from live broadcasting of sports, PPTV is now investing in the sports industry by organizing this series of race.

These running competitions, named as “Running Star”, are held by PPTV and co-organized by Suning E-commerce with decent rewards. There will be 12 races held in 12 different cities in China and these competitions will last till May 2016. Participants of these races will be broken up into two groups- the professionals and the amateurs. Each group is expected to consist of 3,000 runners respectively. Those professionals will attend 10-km races and amateurs will join in the 5-km races. Every champion of each race will be awarded 30 thousand yuan and whoever ranks No. 1 out of the 12 races will get 50 thousand yuan.

The total bonus of this campaign is believed to exceed 2 million yuan.
