On September 22, the China Media Group (CMG) signs strategic partnership agreements, including Broadcasting Framework Agreement of “Meet in Beijing” Winter Sports Events Series, and Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement of Application of Broadcasting Innovation in Beijing Winter Olympic Games and Key Specific Technique of Technology-oriented Winter Olympics Program, with Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
It is reported that the CMG would produce and provide broadcasters worldwide with premium international public TV signals of “Meet in Beijing” winter sports event series. Innovative programs, including documentaries and official movies of Beijing Winter Olympics, as well as selection of event reporters and torchbearers, would be conducted and open to public.
According to the agreements, the CMG would establish a close and effective system of communication and cooperation, together with the organizing committee, to ensure the smooth broadcasting process of “Meet in Beijing” winter sports event series.
Through the cooperation, the CMG would adopt scientific and technological achievements, including 5G+4K and 8K+AI Model, to the production of audio and video contents of Beijing Winter Olympics, which could contribute to establish the foundation of an effective promotion system of significant events at certain timings and premium broadcasting productions of Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
