On January 19, 2020, Alibaba is about to be in the third anniversary of the signing of the Olympic Games. Six months later, Alibaba will also welcome the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, the first summer Olympics in the 12-year sponsorship process. In order to meet the Tokyo Olympics, Alibaba will officially launch a brand new Olympics logo, injecting a new expression of the identity of the world's top partners in the Olympics. Compared with the general version of the traditional vertical line, the LOGO uses 9 lines to better echo the spirit behind the Olympic rings. Alibaba wants to use this logo to send a voice that can resonate to everyone in a more macroscopic perspective, so that the world can understand Alibaba better.
In 2017, Alibaba officially became the top global partner of the International Olympic Committee. Its cooperation rights will cover the next 6 summer and winter Olympics. Due to the exclusivity of top sponsors, in the next 12 years, E-commerce companies like Amazon at home and abroad are unlikely to enter the official partner field of the Olympic Games, . At the same time, the top sponsors in the International Olympic Committee's "Olympic Global Sponsorship Partners" program include 13 internationally renowned companies including Toyota, Panasonic, Coca-Cola, and Samsung.
