23 May 2024 14:34
On September 12, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) and the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee held a joint press conference, announcing that ICBC has become the Official Prestige Banking Services Partner of the 19th Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou, China, in 2022. This marks the second time ICBC has partnered with the Asian Games, the first time being the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.
ICBC will provide all-around support to the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee, especially in the utilisation of their excellent financial services. Specifically, they will provide more credit resources to support urban construction in Hangzhou, and the construction of Asian Games stadiums and support infrastructure and facilities, thereby providing excellent financial support to ensure a successful Asian Games. They will also integrate their resources in services, technologies, talent and branding to provide comprehensive, efficient and secure financial services to athletes, staff, spectators and tourists during the Asian Games.
Using both online and offline channels, ICBC will launch a variety of events to promote the Asian Games and make more people understand and encourage interest in the Hangzhou Asian Games. Last but not least, ICBC will strengthen their financial cooperation with Hangzhou to help Hangzhou to blend more successfully into the economic integration of the Yangtze Delta area, eventually helping Hangzhou build itself as a well-known international city.
