The 2019 International Champions Cup will soon begin action this summer, and Serie A club Inter Milan will start their summer tour to Asia playing against Manchester United and Juventus in Singapore and Nanjing, China respectively. Therefore Hisense has signed a deal with Inter Milan to become the official partner of their Asian summer tour.
The match against Juventus will be played on July 24 in Nanjing. As the official air conditioning provider, Hisense’s advertisements will appear pitch side , and they will offer many benefits to fans such as match tickets or fan meetings. Hisense will also operate a promotional program during Inter Milan’s summer tour that offers consumers discounts and other benefits.
Part of Hisense’s international strategy has been to actively engage in sports marketing to raise brand awareness. Over the years, Hisense has sponsored major sporting events and teams such as UEFA’s Euro 2016, the Australian Open, NASCAR Xfinity Series, Red Bull Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing, and the Bundesliga’s FC Schalke 04. In 2017, Hisense announced its status as an official sponsor of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, becoming the first-ever Chinese consumer electronics brand to sponsor the tournament.
