CSL club Changchun Yatai is planning to go public as reported. Then club confirmed that, “Yatai is considering about IPO”. It would be the first club in CSL.
Due to the major loss for CSL clubs, no one is able to step in stock market so far. In 2014, the annual income of CSL Corporation was 440 million RMB, the total income of clubs exceeded 2 billion RMB, however the outcome was over 2.2 billion, which means a 200 million loss in last year. Although the loss, clubs are on the verge of stepping out of red. In the “reform plan”, it was read that the clubs is entitled to get more localized and deenterprized. Therefore more and more clubs are rushing into capital market.
It was reported that Changchun Yatai was planning to go public, inthe interview, one of the direct board said” Yatai has that thought and we are brewing.” If Yatai succeed, they would be the first in CSL.
Changchun Yatai was founded in 1996, started playing in CSL from 2005 and won the champion in 2007. The club performed dissatisfied due to being short of money these years.
