Damai Sports, the sports arm of the ticketing company Damai, will represent 16 CBA teams in their ticketing business for the 2018-2019 season.
Compared to the 2017-2018 season, Damai Sports has gained a further six CBA-team partnerships. They include last season’s champions, Liaoning Leopard, the popular Beijing Ducks and Shanghai Sharks, Bayi Rockets, Nanjing Tongxi and Tianjin Gold Lions.
Damai Sports will also provide services in ticketing related marketing, engaging users and events services, to help create the best live experience. They will also collaborate with Youku Sports who have just obtained the broadcasting rights of the CBA for the next two seasons. Damai and Youku both belong to Alibaba.
Damai Sports was created in 2016 by Damai to focus on the sports field. In July, Damai Sports became the exclusive global ticketing partner of the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup to be held in China.
