Fan Zhiyi’s No. 5 Training Camp recently signed with Manchester United’s newly signed Sleeve Partner, Kohler, to jointly launch a youth football training project called the “Red Devil Young Footballers”.
The signing ceremony was part of an offline activity organized by Kohler in Shanghai to celebrate Kohler’s partnership with Manchester United. Kohler also invited former Man Utd legend, South Korean player Park Ji-Sung to attend the activity to engage with Chinese fans.
Chinese football legend Fan Zhiyi, on behalf of the No. 5 Training Camp, signed with Kohler during the activity to collaborate on the youth football training agenda, “Red Devil Young Footballers”.
Kohler Kitchen China President Wang Zhenyan said that they are delighted to have an opportunity to work with Fan Zhiyi. They will work closely with No. 5 Training Camp, creating dream platforms for young people, helping them fulfill their Man Utd and football dreams. Fan Zhiyi said they are confident that they will operate the project successfully in providing the most professional coaching.
The No. 5 Training Camp is a football youth training project created by the Shanghai football legend in June this year. He has recruited former stars, Michael Essien and Gaizka Mendieta as ambassadors for the project.
Fan Zhiyi knows there are opportunities in amateur football. He said that the amateur football environment in China had more space to improve and there should be more opportunities for amateur football players to become professional players. Therefore, the No. 5 Training Camp is going to bring overseas advanced training concepts and methods to China, localize them and make these methods suitable for China. They will raise the levels of grassroots coaches, organize international youth football events and drive communication between Chinese and overseas youth football training.
Kohler says they will pay attention to youth football development as well as Chinese football. Therefore, they are going to support the development of Chinese football via this Red Devi’s project.
