Taiwanese badminton equipment manufacturer Victor has title sponsored the China Open, a tier two event on the HSBC BWF World Tour - Super 1000 events. The partnership will last for 4 years from 2018 to 2020.
The new partnership was announced on the morning of July 18 in Changzhou, the Chinese city where the China Open will be hosted. Under the partnership, Victor will provide competition equipment, shuttlecocks and professional services to the China Open. Victor also manufactures event merchandise and souvenirs including rackets, bags, clothing and accessories for the China Open to help promote the event among badminton fans.
The 2018 China Open will be held from September 18 to 23 and is organized by the Chinese Badminton Association, Jiangsu Sports Bureau and the Changzhou municipal government.
Victor has sponsored many badminton events and teams since its creation including the China Badminton Super League from 2013 to 2018, professional domestic badminton events organized by the Chinese Badminton Association from 2016 to 2018 and provincial badminton teams such as Jiangsu, Hubei, Guangxi, Shanghai and Heilongjiang. It has also been a sponsor of the Korean, Malaysian and Danish national badminton teams.
