On April 27, Sina Sports and the Chinese electric powered two-wheel e-vehicle manufacturer, Yadea, jointly announced that the latter had become the new title sponsor of the Sina Sports new futsal league “Sina Elite 5X5 Football League 2018”.
Yadea has added this sponsorship deal after becoming the Official Asian Supporter of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in February 2018. According to Yadea, they have paid an 8-figure sponsorship fee for this title sponsorship deal.
After the unveiling of Yadea as the new title sponsors of this new futsal league by Sina Sports it was announced that the Sina Elite 5X5 Football League 2018 will kick off on May 5 in Nanning, Guangxi, taking place in 17 cities around China and it is expected to attract 1,088 participating teams.
For the League, Yadea and Sina will jointly launch marketing campaigns surrounding the theme of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. For example, the two sides will carry out a sweepstake on social media with prizes including tickets to the futsal league games and match tickets for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, as well as dozens of two-wheel e-vehicles presented by Yadea.
During the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Yadea and Sina will host carnivals around the event in Xi’an, Zhengzhou and Chengdu, in which Yadea will have the opportunity to engage with football fans.
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, Yadea is one of the leading manufacturers of electric two-wheel vehicles in China.
Yadea’s major business is composed of design, research and development, manufacturing and sales of two-wheel vehicles (including electric scooters, electric motorcycles and e-bikes). Currently, Yadea exports its products to over 50 countries.
