SportAccord Convention 2026 sets its sights on sport’s digital frontier

The International Wushu Federation (IWUF) announced on April 8 that they have renewed their sponsorship contract with Taishan Sports Equipment Co.,Ltd (Taishan Company) making the latter the Global Supplier of the federation from 2018 to 2021.
As the IWUF introduced on their official WeChat account, this contract will cover two cycles of the IWUF World Championships and major events of the federation. “Over the next partnership period, the IWUF and Taishan Company will work together to promote Wushu around the world” stated the IWUF’s Secretary General Zhang Qiuping.
According to the IWUF press release, Taishan Company initially joined forces with the federation in 2015 and have been supplying high-quality equipment and facilities to IWUF’s major events over the past 3 years.
Taishan Company is a subsidiary company of Taishan Sports Industry Group Co.,Ltd. which is said to be one of the largest comprehensive sports industry groups in the world.
Over the past number of years, Taishan Sports Industry Group have ever served a dozen international or domestic mega sports events, such as the Olympic Games, the Asian Games, the Universiade and various world sports championships.
The International Wushu Federation is an international sport organization established in 1990 in Beijing, China during the 11th Asian summer Games to promote the sport of Wushu. These Wushu competitions are composed of two disciplines: sanda (fighting) and taolu (forms).
Currently, the IWUF has 146 members, across 5 continental federations worldwide. The IWUF is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and is also a member of both ARISF and Sport Accord.
