SportAccord’s conversation with FEI President Ingmar De Vos: Equestrian sport’s road to Versailles

Following the Provincial Sports Bureau of Jiangsu Province’s announcement that the bureau would provide residents in the province with physical activity coupons for sports stadiums and venues, Beijing has also planned to offer two types of subsidies to promote its sports industry.
The first type of coupon is for the residents of Beijing. Similar to the sports bureau of Jiangsu, Beijing will subsidize those customers who book sports facilities using a certain App.
With this support subsidy, customers will only need to pay a part of the costs with the remainder covered by the financial fund of the Beijing bureau.
Currently, the city is still engaging with sports stadiums and venues to join the program.
The second type of subsidy is aimed at attracting more investors from the private sector to invest in the construction of sports stadiums and venues. Reportedly, the subsidy will be transferred to those investors after their stadiums and venues have been constructed.
The portfolio of potential projects featuring these new subsidies will be available soon.
