The China League One side, Xinjiang Tianshan Leopard, together with Huizhou Teenagers Football Association, has announced the establishment of Huizhou Huixin Football Club.
According to President of the new club, Sun Qingkai, the two sides signed a strategic development deal in October 2017, unveiling their cooperation in football talents fostering and exchange as well as the establishment of a football training base.
According to a Sina report, Huizhou Huixin is expected to make debut in the 2018 Guangdong Provincial Football League, with the goal of winning the championship in the amateur football league. Sun also hopes the new club can play in the Chinese Football Association Amateur League in the first season and then get promoted to the China League One within 2 years.
Huizhou Huixin will include the U20 team players of Xinjiang Tianshan Leopard, several Huizhou players and 2 Brazilian players.
Xinjiang Tianshan Leopard, formerly known as Hubei Huakaier, moved their home stadium to Xinjiang Sports Center in February 2014.
