SPORTACCORD confirms Istanbul as Host City for 2025 Convention

At a signing ceremony held in Beijing on December 26, the Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (Beijing 2022) announced its 5th Official Partner, China Unicom, one of the leaders of the telecommunication industry in China.
Under this partnership, China Unicom will act as the Telecommunication Services Partner of Beijing 2022, offering reliable solutions related to internet and telecommunication services to the Games. Additionally, the telecommunication giant will also bring many “smart” and high-tech elements to the Games, as stated by Zhang Jiandong, Vice Mayor of Beijing and Executive Vice President of Beijing 2022.
Regarding this sponsorship deal, Zhang also emphasized the importance of partnering with such a telecommunications giant such as China Unicom. He also promised that Beijing 2022 would “ensure that China Unicom fully enjoys the wide range of benefits that come with the Olympic brand and achievesolid growth.”
Since launching its marketing program in February, 2017, Beijing 2022 has signed up five official partners, including Bank of China, Air China, Yili Group, ANTA Sports and the latest one, China Unicom.
