December 11: The Chinese sports group K-Bird has announced in an official statement that its subsidiary company, Campus Sports, has partnered with a group of sports companies including Alisports. This partnership will see Campus Sports work together with its partners to operate campus sports events and promote campus sports careers in China.
According to K-Bird, all of Campus Sports’ partners have rich experience in operating sports events. In the future, these partners will help Campus Sports to operate its campus sports events covering athletics, basketball and football. A new Gong Shou Tao event, a Wushu program created by Alibaba’s Jack Ma and the Chinese Wushu star Jet Li, will also be launched soon.
Under the partnership between Campus Sports and Alisports, the latter has been endorsed with the rights to operate a variety of sports events for Campus Sports, including the China University Marathon Series, China University 3X3 Basketball League, and the China University Volleyball League.
Campus Sports was jointly founded in 2015 by K-Bird and other sports organizations including the Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC) and the Chinese School Sports Federation (CSSF).
