December 4: The China League One outfit Beijing BG Football Club has officially launched a youth training base in Weishanzhuang Town, Daxing District in China’s capital city, as part of a strategic partnership with the local government.
As one of three Beijing-based professional football clubs, Beijing BG has currently named Weishanzhuang Middle School, Weishanzhuang No.1 Primary School and Weishanzhuang No.2 Primary School as youth training partners for the time being.
As Weishanzhuang Deputy Chief Cao Chunmiao said, “The partnership will help Weishanzhuang in the construction of a football town as well as the development of local youth training, and serve to lay a solid foundation for the popularity of Chinese football.”
Zhang Xu, Vice General Manager of the club, remarked, “Starting from our signing ceremony, we will provide more training opportunities for young football enthusiasts, grow our brand influence and promote the development of sportsmanship and Beijing football culture.”
