As winter sports becomes increasingly popular in China, Baoshang Bank (BSB) has struck a partnership deal with 北京市滑雪协会 (Beijing Shi Huaxue Xiehui, Beijing Ski Association, BSA) to jointly release the first skiing-themed credit cards in China.
Aside from skiing pictures featured on the cards appearance, these type of credit cards will give its owners various privileges. Owners can enjoy discounts when they buy tickets and skiing equipment at ski resorts in Beijing or in the surrounding areas of Beijing. Up to now, BSB and BSA have signed up several skiing resorts and skiing equipment retailers as their partners.
Additionally, owners of these skiing-themed credit cards do not have to pay the card’s annual fees for life.
Reportedly, BSB and BSA will jointly engage more ski resorts and skiing product retailers as their partners. In the future, the two sides will step up efforts to promote the skiing-themed credit card in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province and even around China to provide more and better concessions to winter sport enthusiasts.
