Sinocherm International to sponsor Lianyungang Xu Wei International Marathon in China

October 23: One of the leaders in the Chinese fine-chemical industry, Sinocherm International Corporation (Sinocherm International), has announced it is to become the title sponsor of the 2017 Lianyungang Xu Wei International Marathon Race, making Sinocherm International the first ever company in the domestic fine-chemical industry to sponsor a marathon race. 

Reportedly, the marathon race they will sponsor will take place on October 29 in the Xu Wei New District of Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, which will attract over 10,000 runners from nearly 30 countries and regions. As the title sponsor of the race, Sinocherm International will organize over 50 staff members to join the race. 

“The healthy lifestyle and positive attitude shown in the sport of marathon running are in accord with our vision “Fine Chemistry Green Life”, as well we have our business operations in Lianyungang and its surrounding regions,” stated Feng Zhibin, Chairman of Sinocherm International. 

In fact, Sinocherm International has signed an agreement with the municipal government of Lianyungang, which will see the former establish a fine-chemical industrial park focusing on developing new materials and fine chemicals in the city.
