September 28: At a signing ceremony hosted in the Capital Gymnasium in Beijing, Chinese sportswear brand ANTA was confirmed as the Official Partner of Sports Apparel of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (“Beijing 2022”).
This partnership makes the sports brand the fourth official partner of Beijing 2022, following Bank of China, Air China and Yili Group. Under this partnership, ANTA will provide high-quality sportswear and services to the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games and Chinese athletes.
ANTA will also assist in promoting the development of winter sports in China by developing winter sports equipment and offering a comprehensive service including winter sports information, coaching and experience. Beijing 2022 and ANTA will jointly leverage the latter’s resources to launch winter sports events and activities.
Since forming their first partnership in 2009, ANTA has been partnering with the Chinese Olympic Committee for four Olympic cycles. In 2010, ANTA joined forces with the Winter Sports Federation of China’s Administration of Sports, which allowed the brand to provide sportswear and equipment to China’s Olympic Team at the Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014 Winter Games.
This year, ANTA has added 13 China national winter sports teams to their portfolio and this sportswear sponsorship will run from August 1, 2018 to July 31, 2022 meaning these deals will also be available for the Beijing 2022 cycle.
