For the upcoming season of the LPL, Chinese eSports club LGD Gaming will have their home venue in Hangzhou, which is currently under construction and will be completed by the end of October.
This new LGD Gaming Culture and Entertainment Center is an eSports and entertainment complex being built by LGD Gaming and Hangzhou Star Pictures and Culture Ltd. a subsidiary company of Alibaba Pictures Group. Located in Xiacheng District, Hangzhou, this 17,000-square meter complex will include a training base, living area and a LGD Gaming eSports events arena.
It has been reported that after construction is completed some major LGD Gaming teams would base themselves in this complex in November. The complex will also be available for eSports tournaments and events including the upcoming LPL.
What is worth mentioning is that this complex will also reportedly be opened to the public featuring a cinema together with an eSports experience center, restaurants and other stores. LGD Gaming will also conduct social and marketing campaigns to their fans and residents in Hangzhou in order to form a tight connection with the city and its residents.
