Beijing iRena Culture Co. Ltd is planning to purchase 64.6908 million worth in shares of Ourgame for a total of HK$120 million at HK$1.85 per share, through its subsidiary Glassy Mind Holdings Limited.
This move means iRena, who has already bought a 23.78 percent stake in Ourgame shares in November 2015, will now own 28.72 percent of the online card and leisure games developer, making iRena its largest shareholder.
According to Ourgame’s 2017 interim report, the online game operator has generated RMB 270 million in revenue during the first 6 months of this year.
iRena debuted on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations, also known as the New Third Board, in November 2015. The company is engaged in the promotion of sporting events, sports leisure, sports marketing and consulting services.
It is the long-term partner of Chinese national football team, Chinese women’s volleball team, the Chinese Basketball Association team Beijing Ducks, the Chinese Super League clubs Guangzhou Evergrande and Beijing Guoan.
