The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced on Wednesday that Chinese bottled water brand C’estbon has become its Official Supporter.
The announcement was released before the kick-off of the AFC Champions League quarter final game between Shanghai SIPG and Guangzhou Evergrande.
Their partnership, featuring exposure at the AFC’s flagship club competitions, the AFC Champions League, the AFC Cup and the AFC Futsal Club Championship, is expected to run until the end of the 2020 season. No financial terms of the deal have been disclosed as of now.
As Dato’ Windsor John, the AFC General Secretary, said: “The partnership reflects the continued appeal of the AFC’s competitions.”
“Our AFC Vision and Mission is to stage top class competitions and there is no doubt that the AFC Champions League fits into that category. It is one of the richest continental club competitions in the world.”
C'estbon Beverage has been one of the most active marathon sponsors in recent years. The company has sponsored 176 marathons, or more than half of the total number of marathons in 2016.
