CFLD signs five-year sponsorship with Beijing Marathon

Chinese real estate developer China Fortune Land Development Co., Ltd. (CFLD) has signed a 5-year sponsorship deal with the Organizing Committee of the Beijing Marathon.

This deal will see the Beijing-based CFLD become the title sponsor of the marathon event from 2017 through 2021.

The Beijing Marathon, first held in 1981, is an annual full marathon race (42.195 km) held in Beijing which has become a Chinese icon and top international event. It has also been selected as the opening leg of the Asian Premier Marathons (APM) launched by the. Asian Athletics Association (AAA), Chinese Athletics Association (CAA), and the CAA-founded China Marathon Majors.

This year's Beijing Marathon, which starts at 7:30am on Sept 17, will kick off the 2017-18 APM season, a continental multi-race marathon series.

The publicly traded Chinese real estate developer CFLD, founded by Wang Wenxue, is also the current owner of Chinese Super League club Hebei China Fortune F.C.
