July 17: As a giant of estate development, culture & tourism and finance, Orient Victory Group, has signed an agreement with Beijing Sport University. This agreement will allow them to jointly set up sports training hubs and specialized towns featuring various sporting activities.
Orient Victory Group will reportedly donate 100 million yuan (US$14.8m) to the educational foundation of Beijing Sport University, aimed at encouraging excellent researchers and staff to promote the development of China‘s sports industry. Beijing Sport University will leverage their intelligent resources to support the planning and construction of Orient Victory Group’s sports towns. In their initial plan, they will jointly integrate high-level events, mass physical fitness activities, sports tourism, sports coaching and physical rehabilitation into these sports towns. The first two towns have been designated for 2 districts in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province.
Beijing Sport University is consistently ranked as the top institute for sport studies in China and enjoys a prestigious reputation both at home and abroad with its core curriculum and research founded in physical education, sports coaching, sports science and other sports-related areas in China.
