As reported by Sohu, football media platform Sike Soccer has raised over 10 million RMB ($1.5m) in their A series financial round. This round was led by Join Hands Capital and Zheng Nanyan, President of Plateno Group and Founder of 7Days Inn.
Sike Soccer was established by Yan Qiang, a famous media professional in China in 2015. Yan is also the former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of NetEase, a leading Internet company in China. Sike Soccer, a football-related contents App including up-to-date soccer news and match streaming, was launched in February, 2016.
Sike Sports have previously raised 20 million RMB from Zhen Fund and Ferry Venture Capital in their Angel round in November, 2015. Their Pre-A financing round took place in June 2016, where they received 50 million RMB in investments from EMC, Feima Capital, Beichen Capital, Long Capital and Capital Fun.
