Walter Sabatini joins Suning Sports

On 10th May, Suning Sports held a press conference in Nanjing, China. It was announced that Walter Sabatini, former Sporting Director of Roma, had joined Suning Sports as their new Technology Director. Sabatini will be in charge of developing the strategies of the football club of Suning Sports, including developing a competition & training system, selecting elite youth players around the world and many more.

It is the first time that such a top football agent joins a Chinese football club, which means a lot for the Chinese football. Before this deal, many top coaches and players have joined some Chinese football clubs. It indeed makes the Chinese football games more attractive and improves the influence of the Chinese football clubs. Now, the Chinese football has got an opportunity to have another improvement by recruiting top football agents with rich experience in the football clubs’ operation.

However, “recruiting Mr.Sabatini is just a beginning for Suning Sports,” stated Liu Jun, Vice-President of Suning Sports. In the future, Suning Sports will recruit more elites of the sports industry so that to make Suning Sports become an advanced sports group.
