CSL team Tianjin TEDA FC has new title sponsor

The Chinese Super League is about to begin, and one of the participating teams will compete in the league with a new name. On March 1 in Beijing, Tianjin TEDA FC in partnership with China Elion Resources Group announced that TianJin TEDA FC will be renamed Tianjin Elion FC for the 2017 CSL season.

The chairman of China Elion Resources Group said: “A football team always has its dream and my dream is Tianjin Elion FC being able to win the CSL within three years.”

The executives of Tianjin TEDA Group Company Limited indicated that winning the league is Tianjin TEDA FC’s dream and everyone will work together for it. The former coach of Tianjin TEDA FC Zuo Shusheng said: “Winning the championship is Tianjin TEDA FC’s dream and the team has the confidence and ambition to realize this dream. I think three years should be long enough.”

Tianjin TEDA FC finished tenth in the 2016 CSL.
