Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

Recently, the Guangzhou Sports Bureau published its annual budget for 2017. It mentioned generous rewards for the 2017 season to the two CSL football clubs in the city, Guangzhou Evergrande and Guangzhou R&F.
According to the award details of the Guangzhou Sports Bureau, clubs qualified for the CSL will get RMB 20 million, a club winning the CSL will get RMB 30 million and winning the AFC Champions League will bring in RMB 50 million.
It means that if Guangzhou Evergrande and Guangzhou R&F avoid relegation, they will get at least RMB 20 million. If Guangzhou Evergrande top the CSL and win the AFC Champions League, it will get a big prize of over a billion from the Guangzhou Sports Bureau.
Guangzhou Sports Bureau’s estimates show that its annual budget is RMB 774.7236 million, and the budget for the reward of the professional football clubs is up to RMB 50 million.
Apart from the rewards for the two Guangzhou CSL clubs, the Guangzhou Sports Bureau will also support youth football training with a budget of RMB 7.7178 million.
