On February 8, the global GPS industry giant, Garmin, announced the signing of three Chinese outdoor athletes; namely Zhou Peng, Rocker Wang and Andrew Wang. Garmin and these three will work together to promote its line of top level Fenix outdoor watches and VIRB action cameras so as to promote more scientific ways to exercise, improve the outdoor sports experience and support the development of youth outdoor sports culture.
These three outdoor athletes are all outstanding youth representatives in the Chinese outdoor sports arena. Zhou Peng is a new generation representative among Chinese mountain climbers; Rocker Wang is a famous extreme sports photographer and videographer as well as outdoor movie producer in China; Andrew Wang is a Chinese professional ski racer who grew up in New Zealand.
This is the first time that Garmin has signed up outdoor athletes in China, which indicates their determination to increase investment in China.
