On the 9th December, the 10-day E-sports event, the WCA2016 global final, began in Ningxia Stadium, Yinchuan city, China.
During these 10 days, the well-known 6 E-sports games, "Defense of the Ancients 2" (DOTA2), "League of Legends", "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" (CS: GO), "Hearth Legend", "Starcraft 2" and "Warcraft 3" will be operated here as platforms for world elite e-sports teams to chase the glory of winning world championships. Moreover, this event will set up 4 exhibitions online with mobile games, "Cross Fire," "300 Heroes," "5V5" and "MAT" to improve the entertainment and interaction of audiences.
China Film Philharmonic Orchestra's conductor Zhang Bingbing with his team mixed and played the original music of "Star Wars" and "Warcraft" in the WCA2016 global finals opening ceremony as the first piece of music to introduce the event. After that, popular music group the GALA band and movie and mucic celebrities Zhang Yuqi and Zhang Shaohan, also offered spectators brilliant performances, which turned Ningxia Stadium into a gala for e-sports fans.
