Chinese capital has swept through European football at a surprising speed. Currently, there are teams with Chinese shareholders in the English Premier League, the Italian Serie A, Spain’s La Liga and the French Ligue 1, while many of the Bundesliga teams are also being eyed by Chinese investors.
The "Financial Times" has done an analysis on the Chinese capital invested in European football. According to the statistics, in just two years, the total amount of Chinese capital invested in European football reached an astonishing 2 billion US dollars.
Chinese capital has been flowing into European football since 2015. During this short period of two years, Chinese investors have invested 20 billion US dollars, which has surprised the British media. And in the future, Chinese capital invested in the map of European football will be further expanded.
