Sport Event Denmark confirmed as Partner for SportAccord Convention in Baku

The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) stated on Tuesday that its partnership with Tencent, the world famous Chinese digital company, has been updated and a long term sponsorship agreement signed. The new agreement is based on their partnership in the media field, which was established last Maybetween the two giants.
This agreement is projected to last 9 years from 2017 to 2025, covering a large number ofevents. These will include the FIBA organised Continental Cups, Basketball World Cups, Olympic Qualifying Tournaments, U19 and U17 World Championships and Basketball World Cup Qualifiers. In particular, the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 in China will be a significant milestone for this long-term partnership.
Tencent is expected to provide the raw energy for the development of FIBA in China, with the impact of its dominant online brands like QQ, WeChat, WeChat Payment, QQ Games and QQ Wallet.
