On 5th September, former Lining CEO, Zhang Zhiyong, was appointed President of LeSports. He will report to the CEO of LeSports, Lei Zhenjian.
Zhang Zhiyong is very famous in the Chinese field of sporting goods. In 1992, he joined the Lining Company. After twenty years working in the company, in 2004, he began to serve as the CEO and Executive Director of the company.
During this period, Zhang Zhiyong was in charge of the overall strategic plan. Under his management, Lining went public in Hong Kong and became the leader in terms of the retail store numbers and trade volumes.
But later, Lining changed from a flourishing business to a declining empire. In 2014, Zhang Zhiyong left Lining and created his own running shoes brand.
After a B-round financing in May, LeSports announced an adjustment to their personnel structures. Yu Hang was promoted to be COO in charge of global business. The Vice President, Zhan Ting, has been acting as the COO of the Hong Kong branch.
