Who you meet at SportAccord And Why it Matters

On 2nd September 2016, the China Sports Culture & Sports Tourism EXPO 2016 held their opening ceremony in Xinjiang International Convention & Exhibition Center.
Olympic champions served as Image Ambassadors for the Expo. There are many performances and exhibitions during the Expo such as Equestrian, Dawaz Art, Hiking, Drifting and a Sportshomes Rally.
The Expo aims to promote the spirit of sport, maintain the sports culture and display sports outcomes. It is designed for building a platform to achieve the integration of sports, cultures, technologies and industries. It will lead to a comprehensive and co-ordinated development of the Xinjiang economy, spur consumption and create a better life for people by enlarging investment and trade in Xinjiang.
All the 31 provinces and Municipalities are attending this Expo, which is the largest in history. There are a series of side events such as the 2016 China Sports Cultures& Sports Tourism Forum and the China Sports Tourism Invest Forum. Some Public Service activities will also be held during the Expo.
