Beijing Tigers won the title in CBL

The final competition of the China Baseball League 2014 has just finished on November 2nd.

The home team Beijing Tigers took the game 3-2, along with the League Title with this win.Before that Beijing and Tianjin won the former two away games respectively.

Beijing played great ball in the outfield to hold off the visiting Tianjin Lions, denying them any runs until the top of the sixth.

Beijing got its leadoff batter home in the bottom of the first inning, and built on that with singles in the fifth and eigth innings to achieve their winning score,while Tianjin missed a chance because of the judge.

Song Pingshan, head coach for the Beijing Tigers, had these thoughts on the game.

“As for this game, I think both us and Tianjin performed well. And we made every effort to win throughout the game. At the same time, Tianjin also had plenty of chances to win. We both did a great job.”

Yang Haifan of the Beijing Tigers has also achieved the title of MVP for the year.

4 Teams play in CBL by now,they are from Beijing,Tianjin, Guangdong and Jiangsu,after a two-week group matches,Beijing and Tianjin encountered in the final.
