On August 9, Li Ming, the manager of the Chinese U19 National Team, finished his four-day visit to West Bromwich Albion(WBA). After taking a closer look at its youth training model at different ages, the manager spoke highly of the professional and rational development model of this English Premier League(EPL) football team.
“The reason that I come here is to learn some lessons and then put them into practice in the training of our team, ” Li said.
At the invitation of coach James, Li Ming attended the preparatory meeting before West Brom’s game against another team. Li also managed to exchange opinions with the coach on deployments and tactics during the competition.
At three p.m., Li, together with football legend Darren Moore, reviewed the game carefully. Moore shared the development and training plan of West Brom’s youth football system with Li , from which Li benefited a lot.
The West Brom club has been acquired by a Chinese enterprise, which means the Baggies will be closely linked with Chinese football in the future.
