Shanghai Shenfen Football Club has agreed a partnership with the Albertz Global Mobile Football Camp, founded by retired German professional footballer Jörg Albertz.
As part of the deal, the two parties will soon begin work on holding a three-day Camp in Shanghai from 24-26 June. However, no further details were announced at the launch ceremony.
“Mr. Albertz, as a former legendary player at Shanghai Shenhua, has close connections with Shanghai. We hope to introduce the excellent culture of youth training from Germany to China and enable the kids to experience a different football culture and a joy in training,” said Zhai Meng, the youth director at Shanghai Shenfan.
“We also hope that the Albertz Global Mobile Football Camp will take root in China for the long-term and make a contribution to China’s youth football training together with Shanghai Shenfan FC,” Zhai continued.
Additionally, the Shanghai-based club signed deals with 10 Shanghai schools on youth football.
Shanghai Shenfan FC is a football club dedicated to youth training and the organization has already struck a partnership with Arsenal FC for the setting up of an Arsenal Football Academy in Shanghai.
