Chevrolet, a principal partner of Manchester United(MUFC) since 2012, signed a sponsorship deal with the 2016 International Champions Cup last Thursday (2nd June). According to earlier reports, Man Utd will play two games here in July, against Borussia Dortmund on 22nd in Shanghai and against Manchester City (MCFC) on the 25th in Beijing.
Under the agreement, the fans and owners of Chevrolet will have access to top European clubs and star players from around the world. Together with Man Utd, Chevrolet will provide fans with opportunities to join a MUFC football training camp during the Red Devils’ tour of China. Meanwhile there will be interactive activities between fans and players on Chevrolet’s WeChat.
Among others, Chevrolet is the official sponsor of One World Play Project. To date they have distributed over one million ultra-durable One World Futbols to communities in need: impacting on over 30 million lives in more than 70 countries.
