Wuhan Double Co Ltd (DOUBLE) announced last night (18th April) it would spend €39.5million to buy a 100% share of Nice International Sports Limited.
Nice International Sports Limited currently holds a 46% share of BORG B.V. and it plans to spend €18million to buy more so that it will hold a controlling 70% of the company.
After these transactions, Wuhan Double will have a controlling share of two subsidiaries of BORG B.V. - Media Base Sports(Spain) and Media Base Sports(UK).
Media Base Sports (MBS), run by Pere Guardiola, brother and agent of Pep, is the agency that represents Andres Iniesta and Luis Suárez.
DOUBLE’s 100% owned subsidiary, Desports, a sports marketing agency, signed an agreement with MBS and Gino Pozzo in March 2016.
Wuhan Double Co Ltd is principally engaged in the trading of phosphate ores. The Company is also involved in the leasing, operation and management of student apartments.
