A Taiwan-based tyre manufacturer, Kenda Tires, has agreed a partnership deal with Serie A’s marketing partner, Infront, for on-field advertising at the home grounds of six Serie A clubs, according to a report on SportsPro.
The report says the deal was struck by Kenda’s exclusive Italian partner, Gruppo Sirio. It will enable Kenda to advertise on all four sides of the pitch at the home venues of Fiorentina, Lazio, Rome, Sampdoria, Udinese and CFC Genoa.
Speaking of the deal, Kenda Europe marketing and sales manager Michael Andre said: “We wanted to further increase brand awareness for Kenda in Italy and strengthen our retail network.
“Our new visibility in Serie A allows us to approach end users on an emotional and inspiring level.”
Earlier this year, Kenda signed a major sponsorship deal with National Basketball Association (NBA) side Cleveland Cavaliers.
